The game feels like i has potential, but the core elements need a bit of tweaking and the balance is all over the place right now. Even in the small sample card pool available there are some very degenerate combos and it's not too hard to totally lock the opponent out of the game.. It shares a lot of DNA with pokemon. You have your active character who is the one that attacks/is attacked by default, and you have other characters on the back row in the same way you have your Pokemon Bench. The resource system is Vials, which you have 4 types of. You store those in their own section and you spend them on your Hybrid's attacks/abilities, and cards that have effects when played from the hand. Victory can be attained by defeating your opponent's Clan Leader, who sits on the field like other characters but is more powerful than most. In my experience though, that's not how a lot of games will end. You draw to hand size each turn so it doesn't take too long for players to get through their decks, and once you're out of deck you don't lose immediately. You can do things but there's a very good chance that you'll be out of resources with no way to get them back, so at that point either concede, or hope that by the time your opponent has also run out that you're still in the lead. That aspect doesn't seem very well thought out considering I encountered it 3 out of 4 games. Pros: - Cool character designs - Relatively fast paced

Cons:

- Badly balanced right now

- Decking out feels inevitable and requires someone to concede

- A few card effects aren't entirely clear, and wording needs tightening up a bit
